“I was shopping for my first home a few years ago. I had heard that I could get a deal by buying a fixer-upper and fixing it up to look nice, but didn't really know where to start. A friend recommended that I talk to me to Lin He, the owner of Rellion. I set up a meeting with Lin, who told me that he could walk me through the whole process, from buying to fixing, to potentially selling my house. Lin is a real estate broker and investor, and has a team that does interior design and remodeling, so he can offer a 360 degree look at every unique real estate situation. I didn't even know companies existed who could do all of those things! But since I was short on time and experience, this seemed like a great option for me. Lin and his Rellion team were great from the start. First, he told me that the market timing was right to buy. Then, he helped me narrow down and choose a home, and then negotiated the price with the bank (it was a foreclosure). The house was a complete mess, but Lin's eye for design really got me excited about what the house could become! Once we settled on the design of the home, Lin gave me a bid to do the remodeling work. I actually shopped the bid around to a few other contractors. Rellion wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive - they were right in the middle. But his price seemed fair, and I was very happy with Rellion's services so far, so I awarded them the job. A few short months later, the house was done! It was done in exactly the amount of time that Lin had estimated, and even slightly under budget. I was surprised that things went so smoothly because I had heard so many horror stories about working with contractors. It's a few years later now and I can't be happier with how things turned out. The market has gone up a lot, and my house has increased in value tremendously. The work that Rellion did on my home is still doing great. I even worked with Lin on a few more investment projects afterward - fix and flip projects that I sold for a nice profit. I had such a great experience with Lin and his Rellion team that I have referred Rellion many friends and acquaintances.
